Since cake and ice cream was scheduled for Sunday I wasn't going to do anything really for the actual day, but I wasn't able to let it go by after all. At Library group coincidentally the first book was "It's my birthday" so after the book reading the class sang for Sarina and asked if she had cake today. We ended up stopping at the grocery on the way home and picked up some decorated cupcakes so she could have cake on her actual birthday. What a hoot!! Will have to get the videos loaded soon too.
A special treat - she also got to open her birthday card all the way from Australia while Poppy and Grandma Denise were on the webcam with us. An amazing was to stay connected so far away!!
