Denise, Madelyn, Sarina and I met Scott's sister Janet for lunch near her work, and then to the library which was only half a block away. Check out the size of mum's sandwich - the picture doesn't do it much justice, the thing was HUGE!
He he - no there wasn't any vegemite on her sandwich. Actually, I don't think there was even any on the menu!
Vegemite is a yeast byproduct that is nearly black in color and kind of tar-like consistency. Used as a paste on toast or bread; Scott sometimes has vegemite on crackers with slice of cheese. Vegemite is to Australians as Peanut Butter is to Americans. A bit bitter for me, I've never been able to develop a taste for it. Maybe we'll bring some along to Grandma's in June Becky, if you can make it.
Scott will correct me if I'm wrong on any of the above.
